Underground Skillz Run Through Meeting TONIGHT

Tonight at 8 PM in the Haven Lounge will be the final run through for tomorrow's Underground Skillz tomorrow at 8 PM in the Schine Underground.

Darien Lake Details

Read the following very very carefully:

Below is all the important details for those signed up AND paid for the Darien Lake Trip (you will have received an email confirming this as of 12:23 PM today).

For Saturday August 1’s trip, you will need to meet outside no later than 845 AM so we can check names and the bus will leave the Haven Circle at 9 AM sharp (be prompt as we will not wait long for stragglers).

Also, you will need to either bring a lunch or buy one on your own at the park. You can get food at the Shaw Dining Center on Friday (swipe twice to get a to-go container along with your dine-in meal).

The bus will arrive at Darien Lake around 1130 and everyone will meet back at the bus at 415 PM sharp. The bus will return to Haven around 7 PM.

Baby Mall

I bet many of you have been scratching your noggins, wondering what in tarnation is a Baby Mall?

Baby Mall is an interactive game that involves purchasing fake children, solving mysteries and snacking out in the Main Lounge.

I'm sure that still leaves many of your scratching your head, so come out tomorrow Wednesday July 29 at 9 PM in the Haven Lounge to find out.

3 on 3 Basketball Tournament- MONDAY!

Are you ready to show off some serious Basketball skills?? This Monday at 7pm in Archbold Gymnasium is your chance! Get a team of 3 together and get ready for an athletic event like no other! Sign up by replying to this post with the names and email addresses of your 3-person team as well as your team name (make it good!) and head to the Basketball Courts in Archbold Gym on Monday at 7pm.

All are welcome (teams can be made up of any gender combination). And if you don't feel like playing, come and cheer on your friends!

Movie on the Quad!!

The Express will play on the Quad at 9 PM on Friday 7/24. Make sure to bring a blanket or chair of your own.

Looking for something fun to do on Friday afternoon? Head on down at 4:30pm to the Slutzker Center (the corner of Waverly Avenue and Walnut Place) for MIX IT UP. Mix It Up is a meet and greet for International and American SU/ESF students. Make some friends, eat some food and have a blast!

JumpStart Part II

Hello future SU leaders!
Remember that amazing program that you participated in on Tuesday in class? Well, luckily you have another opportunity to join in for phase 2 of JumpStart. On Friday, in the Haven main lounge, YOU will be challenged in new ways and will develop new leadership skills that you never knew you had. AND, at the end of the session you will be treated to a delicious dinner of Dinosaur BBQ! Show up at 1pm and be ready to have a great time! The program ends around 5pm with dinner at the end. Be there on time because only the first 40 people will be able to participate in the event!

Weather permitting, the recreational soccer activities for SummerStart and Summer College students (and R.A.s) on Tuesdays and Thursdays as possible.

The play begins Tuesday July 21st. Meet in front of Haven Hall at 5:50, to continue onward on to Thornden Park (make sure to sign out at the Main Desk).

Blue Light Amazing Race!

This Wednesday there will be a competition of epic proportions that will transpire around campus!

The Blue Light Amazing Race, which will mirror the popular concept of a race incorporating puzzles and challenges along the way, will take teams of 3 (or 4 in the event of odd numbers) your fellow SummerStart students pit against one another in a challenge incorporating knowledge and skills as well as efficiency.

The race will begin tomorrow at 6 PM in the Haven Main Lounge. People who would like to play should arrive at 545 PM.

First team to complete the race will win

What that means is that you need to be at the location that matches your major/college on Thursday for dinner (the dining hall will not be an option that night).

If you would like to walk over with an RA, they will meet outside Haven at 445 PM and begin walking over at 450 PM (the exception is Architecture, who will meet at 545 PM outside Haven).

Sign-ups are limited for all of our trips so we will have sign-ups tonight 7/8 from 8 - 9 PM (or when all the slots are taken) at Bill's office. Please form a line against the windows that does not impede traffic.

To sign up you will need:
- a $5 refundable-upon-arrival-that-morning deposit for paintball
- a $5 refundable-upon-arrival-that-morning deposit for Waterloo Outlets
- a $16 NON-refundable payment for Darien Lake.

ONLY EXACT CHANGE IN CASH WILL BE EXCEPTED.

- Go to all of your classes. Sounds obvious, but you can't afford to miss a class.

- Get your picture ID from ID Card Services in Steele Hall if you don't have one.
