Checking Out

Well, our time together is coming to a close and you will need to check out of your room. Below are the CRUCIAL steps. Please make sure to go to your floor meeting as your RA will go over things in more detail.

EVERYONE MUST BE OUT BY SATURDAY, 8/15 AT 12 NOON SHARP (aim for 10 AM as it will be a busy day). NO EXCEPTIONS.


Basic Steps to Checking Out:
1. Clean out your room. Remove all belongings. Recycle any and all papers/plastic, etc. Remove all trash. If there is excessive dirt on the floor, please vacuum.

2. Check the walls, please remove any tape/goo.

3. Double check all drawers/closets before you leave. It will be a long, drawn out process to get your things back if you leave them in the room. Just don’t do it.

4. When your room is clear, lock your door and place your key in the check out envelope that you received in your mailbox. And secure the green “08” security dot to the envelope. Sign the bottom and either bring to the front desk or, if the desk is closed, place in your mailbox.

5. If you drop your key off at the desk, be sure to check your mailbox before you leave for mail/packages. Any remaining packages will be returned to sender.

6. If you are the last person to vacate the room, initial the yellow sign that will be hanging on your door.

Hey Guys! Don't forget to sign up for FLAG FOOTBALL...it take place TOMORROW, August 6th from 6-9pm at Hendrick's Field near Lawrinson Hall. Reply to August 1st post and be there with your game faces on!!

Students of Color Retreat

Do you identify as a student of color? Are you interested in learning more about Leadership? Well, then the Students of Color Leadership Retreat is for YOU!

The retreat will take place October 16th-17th at the White Eagle Conference Center in Hamilton, NY. The retreat is absolutely FREE (Transportation and Meals are included!) All you will need is yourself and a positive attitude (OK, and maybe a change of clothes!).
